Research > Investigators Only > Call for Posters at The Eunice and Irving Leopold Annual Scientific Symposium and Retreat Call for Posters at The Eunice and Irving Leopold Annual Scientific Symposium and RetreatCall for Posters CancerCenter members, as well as other interested Penn faculty and postgraduates, are invited to present posters on cancer-related research, including, but not limited to: experimental biology, etiology, prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, behavioral sciences and health services. All recent Cancer Center award recipients (Pilot Projects, American Cancer Society, Collaborative Pilot Projects) are strongly encouraged to present a poster with their research findings related to their award.
Posters prepared for presentation at recent local, national, or international meetings will be accepted and can be presented in their original form, as one purpose of the Symposium is to familiarize Cancer Center members and Penn faculty with cancer research being conducted on the campus. Posters will be available for viewing throughout the day, including an attended Poster Session in the afternoon. Every effort will be made to provide a posterboard for each abstract submitted. Poster AwardsCash prizes will be awarded to the best posters submitted with a trainee as first author. A select group of senior Abramson Cancer Center scientists serves as the review panel. Eligible posters must be set up before 8:30 a.m. to be considered for the contest.
